As in the case of all Steeltech Shed Units, a concrete base is required. It is necessary to install the base in two steps, whereby a concrete foundation strip (300mm wide) is first installed at the unit’s perimeter. After the Steeltech Unit is erected, the internal floor is installed on a Plastic Sheet DPC. In the case of these insulated units , we recommend that insulation is also installed in the concrete base, as this will ensure a greater level of comfort when using during the winter months.
