Our regular 5m x 3m , Supreme Steel Shed is fitted with a 1.3m wide sliding door. In this case a wider door opening was required as the shed will be used for the storage of some landscaping equipment , including a wider than normal ride on mower. There is non drip coated sheeting on the internal walls and roof of the shed.
A 2.1m Roller door was fitted to give adequate width and ease of access. The chosen location for the shed at this housing development was a grass area on one corner of the site. A slab of concrete was installed to replace the grass and as well as accommodating the shed , which now provides a useful area for bin storage.
A good job was done on the shed’s concrete base here. The initial 300mm wide levelled foundation strip for the shed was incorporated in the overall concrete slab , leaving a hardcore area for the shed’s final floor. After the shed was erected, a layer of DPC plastic sheet was laid within the shed and the full internal concrete floor was laid , bringing the finished internal floor up level with the door’s sill. This method guarantees a dry floor.
